I'm not familiar with ERCOT's INR IDs. Did you really mean the EIA-930M? Is there any EIA-930 data that has plant-level data? We've only worked with the hourly generation data. I would think the EIA-860 would be the place to look for IDs. Also, if you have lat/lon for the ERCOT plants, you could probably do a spatial join on the lat/lon of the EIA plants and get a lot of matches. |

I was wondering if anyone's done the work to link ERCOT's INR IDs to EIA Plant IDs.
And/or your thoughts on the wisdom or desire for that linkage.
From what I can see, I don't think you can do that with any real confidence. I guess I'm partly wondering if there's a data source out there that would make it feasible.
