build a WhatsApp newsletter flow with Chatwoot Campaigns

I’d like to use the new Campaigns feature to send bulk WhatsApp newsletters. The idea is:

• Customers opt in (e.g. by sending a keyword).
• I assign them a label like “Newsletter Opt-in” via automation.
• Later, I send them bulk messages via Campaigns using that label.

Problem:
Currently, labels can only be assigned via the automation feature to conversations, not to the contact of the conversation.

Q: Is there a recommended way to manage newsletter opt-ins in Chatwoot today?

• Can labels be applied at the contact level instead of just conversations?
• Or is there another best practice for managing WhatsApp newsletter audiences?

Use case:
Running an ongoing opt-in/opt-out newsletter flow for WhatsApp, where labels at the contact level are essential for audience management.

We do support whatsapp campaigns from v4.4.0. You need to enable this feature. via super_admin

I know that and that is an awesome feature!! But you have to choose a segment via the contact label - e.g. send this campaign to all contacts with the label newsletter. What I need to do now is to give all my contact a way to opt-in or opt-out. I tried to do that via the automation function, listening to specific keywords. Like setting up an automation that listens on all messages in my WhatsApp-Inbox for "INFOSTART" and when triggered setting the newsletter label for the contact. But the problem is that labeling in that manner ONLY supports conversation labels an NOT contact labels. Since WhatsApp Campaings work with the contact label, I am not able to realize a workflow like that. So what I purpose is to add an Action to the automation feature that supports labeling contacts.

That's exactly what I wish for :)
Sorry for my complicated explanation, but adding this feature would allow to build a complete newsletter flow with opt-in in Chatwoot, that would be awesome!
