add sponsors to matrix sites?

in discussing continuity of service we ( @wchristian @GeekRuthie @ferki @exodist ) considered that existing funding providers, as well as possible future ones should be mentioned.

current thoughts are that the main point for those would be on the matrix websites. @andk, @srezic, @eserte do you see that possible?

Some years ago fast-matrix ran on a sponsored machine, and there was a sponsor banner on the page. However, currently all matrix setups are running on self-funded systems, so the banner code is gone: eserte/cpan-testers-matrix@75b5cbe

Talked it over with @eserte and @andk and they're optimistic about pooled funding and open to having sponsors and a donate link on the matrix sites.
