It’s hard to find a great DNS host that’s actually delightful to use. Datum might be it. With Datum DNS, users can manage zones and records through the customer portal and programmatic interfaces (MCP and datumctl).

This release includes core record management, zone file operations, and integration with existing Datum services (such as Proxy and Domains).
Zone Management – Create and manage DNS zones via portal or API with automatic SOA/NS record generation
Record Operations – Basic CRUD operations (create, read, update, delete) for essential DNS records (A, AAAA, CAA, NS, SRV, TXT, CNAME, MX, TLSA, SVCB, HTTPS)
Bulk Import/Export – Import existing zone files (BIND format) or export current configurations.
Audit Log – Track all zone and record changes with user attribution and timestamps
Project Scoped – Manage zones within individual projects with role-based access control
