Using setup.sh

Hello,
I have just installed and set up the container.
I successfuly connected my account to Thunderbird, then everything seems to be good.
However, i still have an issue using the setup command.
For example, I have created the "usertest@domain" user. I connected its mailbox to Thunderbird.
I see it when i do setup email list.
But, i cannot do anything on it. I cannot update or delete it, i have the following error :
ERROR updatemailuser: 'usertest@status.ovh' does not exist

Any idea ?

If the user exists they'll be added to postfix-accounts.cf in your config volume. If you have since destroyed the container and not used a volume to persist this config it'll be lost.

A separate volume is used to persist the account mailbox at /var/mail/user-name/domain-name which should also exist.

One area where this may break is if you've attempted to use upper-case or non-ASCII characters in your address. These should be normalized to lower-case, and inspecting the postfix-accounts.cf + /var/mail directory paths should help confirm any mismatch.

The reason setup email list may work is it is just reading this stored information, while commands that would try to update or delete need to match the address correctly and I'm not sure if those are doing any normalization (make the address lowercase).

Please double-check your DMS with this information to confirm.
