Bluetooth is not detecting airpods.

Hello everyone. Just installed elementary os on macbook pro 8,2 and the bluetooth is not detecting airpods, although it detects my phone and successfully pairs with it. I tried controllermode bredr and dual, also installed blueman but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

Fixed.
Had to turn off the bluetooth, put the airpods in pairing mode, then turn on the bluetooth. S
