The elementary operating system 8.0.1 recognizes the USB WLAN stick
adapter, but it can't turn it on, meaning it doesn't function. Of course,
there's no on/off switch on the USB stick adapter, and there's no software
to turn it on. The elementary operating system simply can't turn it on and
get it to work.

Hello,
I've tested many Wi-Fi USB adapters with this new version of elementary 8.0.1.
Unfortunately, not a single Wi-Fi USB adapter was recognized.
