Native clipboard request in ElementaryOS

It would be very valuable if ElementaryOS incorporated a native clipboard. I come from environments like KDE, GNOME, and Linux Mint, where this feature is available through extensions, and it really makes a difference. In my case, I use it as a journal to post content to various social networks, and having a clipboard history greatly streamlines the workflow. Unfortunately, ElementaryOS doesn't currently offer this option. I hope the development team considers it.

Until then, there is an unofficial wingpanel indicator :) i packaged it recently
You can grab the DEB in Release, and install it either from commandline, or using Eddy available in Appcenter

It is rudimentary and only manages text, i am too busy to make something more fleshed out alas, but it may suit your flow, hopefully!

Exactly what I needed. I love that it blends in with the desktop style; I hope it'll be incorporated into the entire environment soon. It would be great if I could also copy images and pin specific text. So far, it's perfectly suited to what I was looking for. Thanks!
