Virtual desk changing with "Win/Super key + mouse scrolling"

Description of the new feature:

When using Fedora with GNOME, it was possible to switch desktops simply by pressing "win/super key + mouse scrolling".

I don't know if Elementary OS has this feature, but I believe it would greatly improve the user experience.

Although keyboard shortcuts exist, there are situations where you could switch desktops without having to take your hand off the mouse.

It's the kind of feature that adds an extra boost to productivity in my opinion.

I think this would be kind of redundant with desktop switching by scrolling over the top panel.

I understand, but this function of scrolling on the top panel is much less user-friendly and ergonomic than pressing "Win/Super key + mouse scrolling".

I do not agree. Keyboard shortcuts are less discoverable than UI elements. Moreover, having to use the keyboard and the mouse is less accessible since you need two functional hands to do that.

Why not offer both options?

Leave the scrolling function on the top panel for casual users, and the "Win/Super key + mouse scrolling" function for more advanced users.

Everyone will benefit and use the function that best suits their workflow.
