Add Visual Indicators for Settings Modified from Default Values (Widget Diff / Changed Fields Highlighting)

Describe the Problem

When editing widgets in Elementor, there is currently no reliable or centralized way to quickly identify which individual controls have been modified from their default values.

Many widgets contain dozens of settings across Content, Style, and Advanced tabs. When inheriting a site, revisiting older builds, debugging layout issues, or auditing for consistency, users must manually scan every control and section to discover whether a value has been changed. This is time-consuming and error-prone.

While some controls show a small reset icon, there is no global or grouped visibility into:

• Which sections contain customized values
• Which specific fields differ from defaults
• Whether a widget has any changes at all without opening every panel

This creates friction for developers, designers, and site maintainers and significantly slows down troubleshooting and optimization workflows.

Propose a Solution

Add a built-in “changed from default” indicator system, similar to what exists in many modern design tools:

At minimum:

• Visually highlight controls whose values differ from defaults (e.g., colored dot, text, border, or icon)
• Add a small badge on section headers (Content / Style / Advanced and sub-sections) indicating that the section contains modified values

Optional enhancements:

• A toggle to “Show only modified settings” - this would be invaluable
• A widget-level indicator showing that the widget contains custom values
• A quick “Reset all modified settings” action

This would allow users to instantly see what has been customized and where, without manual hunting.

Additional Context

This feature would greatly benefit:

• Developers inheriting or maintaining existing sites
• Debugging layout/spacing/typography issues
• Auditing design consistency
• Performance and cleanup passes
• Team environments where multiple people touch the same page

Competing builders and design tools increasingly provide some form of changed-state visibility. Adding this to Elementor would significantly improve usability and developer experience.
