Describe the enhancement
There is a revision to the BL0937 power sensor called BL0937B. This revision uses a different reference voltage (1.1V) than the original version (1.218V).
I am requesting that the hlw8012 sensor platform be updated to add an additional BL0937B model option which would use the updated reference voltage.
Use cases
Products like the Wyze Outdoor Plug are using this revised sensor. Even knowing the voltage divider and current resistor, using BL0937 in the ESPHome config will not get you close to the correct readings. You would have to multiply these parameters by the ratio of the new vs. old reference voltages. Having a separate BL0937B model defined directly by ESPHome would make it easier to configure this sensor for any product that is using it.
Anything else?
This is the datasheet showing the changes for the B revision.
