Using the PID climate for more than just temperature regulation.

Describe the enhancement

If there is a possibility to use a " units of messurement" feature on this component we can use this for regulating humidity ( that is the main reason for this feature), speed control with feedback, ..... or other things that need to be regulated using a PID regulator.
The possibility to change the °C in to whatever unit of measurement will create a symple visual in HA just like the thermostat card but with another unit like % or rpm or ... also in webserver correct unit of measurement is present.

Use cases

for me it is importent in controlling the humidity by adjusting flow valves in a ventilation system that regulate the amount of outside air is mixed with inside air. Now PID regulation works fine for this usage but i am stuck with the °C while i want to see % representing the humidity

Anything else?

it would be nice if we can do " units of measurements " in all of the thermostat components.

I would like to add that all sugestions about solutions and workarounds in HA are nice but not practical and useless as a sollution.
