Climate Component: how to use MQTT-Commands for preset, custom_preset, custom_fan_modes

Describe your request

I'd like to set preset, custom_preset and custom_fan_mode for the Climate Component (e.g. Midea AC).

Why the uncertainty?

While using the SLWF-01PRO USB-dongle in ACs (e.g. Midea et al), you'll get some information. So far I am able to use:

• get the states for mode, current_temperature, target_temperature, preset (not sure), fan_mode and swing_mode
• set the states for mode, target_temperature, fan_mode, swing_mode, preset

What I can't do is

• set the state for a custom_preset (especially: "FREEZE_PROTECTION")

What I'm not sure about, what is the difference between "fan_mode" and "custom_fan_mode"?

Use cases

I'd like to use the USB-Stick without Home Assistant only via MQTT-topics.

What areas might this affect?

climate component, mqtt component?
