Posted at 2022-08-11 by @gfwilliams Hi, I'm afraid I don't know of any Indian distributors - our main ones are listed on https://www.espruino.com/Order Bangle.js doesn't have WiFi, no. For that you may be better looking at an Android watch. If you want a hackable watch for 30 dollars you can look at the PineTime. There is a Python interpreter for it (https://github.com/daniel-thompson/wasp-os) and also a version of Espruino. However I don't believe it'll be as easy to get started with - to a certain extent with Bangle.js you're paying for the vast amount of effort it takes to make things 'just work' as much as is possible Posted at 2022-08-11 by user147917 Thanks for replying, to what extent do you think one can make an original Pebble classic with Rebble similar to a hackable watch. Obviously it has far specs but do you think one can get some creative solutions into it too? Posted at 2022-08-11 by @gfwilliams I'm not sure I really understand the question? You're asking if the Pebble can be hackable? You can definitely write your own apps for it. Posted at 2022-08-11 by user147917 Yeah I am aware rebble has great dev support but I wanted to know how limited the range of potential apps can be given the Original Pebbles hardware in comparison to modern day projects such as pine and bangle. I hear the software constraints due to this are quite big. Additionally is Pine too hard for someone without much low-level/microcontroller knowledge? |

Hi wanted to ask if there are any Bangle sellers in India
I also wanted to know if there are any alternative hardware for around 30 dollars.
I know good Python and a little JS, and am really interested in this watch.
Does this watch have a wifi chip?
(PiHut sells for around a 100 pounds with shipping)
