Sorry about this - I recently changed the way we handle the connection on desktop to get app uploads a bit faster, but as you noted there was an issue with the backup tool, which should be fixed now. I've been trying to reproduce your problem here and I had it once (I believe after leaving the Bangle connected for a while and then going to Recorder), but all the rest of the times it worked fine - just closing and re-opening the Recorder popup made it work without issues so you could try that?

I did spot something and have just made some changes that will hopefully improve matters, so if you open either app loader and make sure to refresh, it should be fixed. I haven't managed to reproduce…
