Recorder export throws error #7720

I use the Recorder App running on desktop Chrome to export CSV, KML and GPX copies of recorded activities. It was working fine up until ~6 days ago. Now the app throws this error while trying to enumerate activities on the device. Looking at alternative methods for getting data off the watch, I also tried the 'Backup' tool in the Utilities section. Unfortunately that also threw an error, albeit a different one. That particular error now seems to be resolved and I can confirm that backup now works for me too. Interestingly the issue with exporting from the Recorder App (both stable and development) does not occur in the loader though Gadgetbridge on my phone ( My watch is running the latest stable versions of all installed apps/features (i.e. no pending updates when using banglejs.com/apps/). Sorry about this - I recently changed the way we handle the connection on desktop to get app uploads a bit faster, but as you noted there was an issue with the backup tool, which should be fixed now. I've been trying to reproduce your problem here and I had it once (I believe after leaving the Bangle connected for a while and then going to Recorder), but all the rest of the times it worked fine - just closing and re-opening the Recorder popup made it work without issues so you could try that? I did spot something and have just made some changes that will hopefully improve matters, so if you open either app loader and make sure to refresh, it should be fixed. I haven't managed to reproduce it since (but then I struggled before so I can't be 100% sure). Please can you let me know how you get on? |
