We should consider registering a DID for the fair-plugin. Obviously this will require a server running the mini-fair-repo plugin. |

There are a number of small PRs for mini-fair-repo that need review. We should also consider bumping the version number so anyone using this will notice their version may not be current. |

Addressing Ownership and Identity for packages at entry into FAIR #45 Any further comment on fairpm/fair-protocol#45 issue for discussion posted by @ramseyp & me with comments from @Ipstenu & @afragen so far. This is intended to address an identified exposure for a supply chain attack under a certain set of circumstances and includes an approach for safely transitioning "legacy" wp-org packages (wp-org API) to FAIR using the FAIR protocol. We are actively working on these items within AspireCloud, so don't want to leave the issue open too long. From that discussion, one suggestion is using Web DIDs rather than the preferred DID method, however note the FAIR plugin can't yet query that format (if it matters). |
