As said its possible to make masks in Friction, but you can't import any from SVG. This is something we can look into. We need to parse the SVG for masks and convert it into something we can use (inverse of what we do on export). We have a lot of open TODO's so no ETA on when this will be worked on. |

Hi all
The idea is to sub-path animate a logo made in Inkscape with a single line, on which an evolved outline has been applied.
I tried using the original line, made thick and without the evolved outline, enclosed in a clip that represents my true logo shape.
But when I import it into Friction, it removes the clip and only recognizes the thick line that has to be sub-path animated.
I also tried using a mask instead of a clip path, but it went the same way.
So, my request or suggestion would be to see if it's possible to import from Inkscape, or add directly within the program, the capability to have a clip path or a mask applied to another object.
