The command_webview call has an unpleasant feature—a full application restart.

Describe the feature

I need the fastest possible switching between dashboards: /lovelance/1 , /lovenance/2.
But after calling command_webview I observe about a 2-second full application restart before the desired tab opens.

Use cases

HA Companion does not let the tablet screen turn off while the webview is streaming live video. As a result, the tablet that is permanently mounted by the entrance door, when the doorbell rings and live video from the camera is displayed, no longer turns off its screen. A workaround was found—switching to an empty screen (without video streaming), then the tablet goes to sleep and turns off the screen on its own.

This wont be able to get corrected because without a new task, which is what happens behind the scenes, the tabs eventually stop changing if you try and go back and forth often. The way it works today is intended to work reliably.

The third-party integration browser_mod does this transparently. But I don’t want to install another integration just for panel switching. Either the “no-sleep” behavior of the device during live video playback needs to be fixed, or there should be a way to seamlessly switch to another panel that doesn’t contain live video.
