I was about to create my own suggestion but I found yours. Simulating ana utomation with values for each row would be great for all users really. |

Describe the feature
Hi everyone! I'd love to suggest feature that I think could really im prove the automation experience in Home Assistant.
It would be incredibly helpful if when i creating an automation, we could preview i+ the form Of traces-similar to how We can f view traces after an automation runs. This would allow users to spot potential errors before saving and make adjustments more easily.
Thanks: So much for A the amazing work you r do!
Use cases
🧪 Debugging Before Execution: When creating complex automations, it’s often difficult to predict how each step will behave. A trace preview would allow users to simulate the automation and identify logic errors or misconfigured conditions before deploying it.
🔍 Step-by-Step Validation: Users could inspect each action and condition in the automation flow, ensuring that triggers, conditions, and actions are properly aligned and will behave as expected.
🛠️ Faster Troubleshooting: Instead of running the automation and checking the trace afterward, users could catch issues early, reducing trial-and-error cycles and saving time.
👥 Improved Accessibility for Beginners: New users often struggle with understanding why an automation doesn’t work. A preview trace would make the process more transparent and educational.
