Looks like a great idea to me. As you said, it makes things a bit easier to decide when to start wash dryer or battery charging. Normally in quieter moments the prices are lower so it also helps to reduce energy balance on the grid. |

Describe the enhancement
It would be highly beneficial to support dynamic energy prices in the Home Assistant Energy Dashboard. Currently, the dashboard appears to be optimized for static pricing models, which limits its usefulness for users with variable pricing plans such as hourly rates, 15min rates (e.g., Tibber, Octopus, 1Komma5 or similar), or time-of-use tariffs(night/day Plans for example 6am-11pm more expensive, during night 11pm-6am ceaper)
So add the prices for this and the next day into energy dashbord and hilight the cheapest and the highest prices and also in a realation to the average week month and year price for better price desicion. Create an entity for pricelevels to start Wallbox/dishwasher and so on when the cheapest pricelevel is reached.
Timepattern should be selectable for 15 minutes or 1h (15 min because new time span in European market is 15 min. theoretically since June 2025 now at the end of the year.
Use cases
Accurate cost tracking for users on dynamic pricing plans.
Better support for energy optimization based on cost, not just usage.
Alignment with modern energy consumption strategies and real-world billing.
In case of negative energy prices can a load preplaned for the next day.
Visual examples
Anything else?
For example E3DC or Tibber provides something similar.
