Describe the enhancement
While navigating different parts of the Home Assistant UI, I noticed that similar primary actions use different labels such as:
“Add” (e.g., Add Integration)
“Create” (e.g., Create Automation)
“New” (e.g., New Dashboard item)
Although functionally correct, this inconsistency may introduce minor cognitive friction, particularly for newer users.
I suggest reviewing whether similar primary actions across the UI could use standardized terminology, or documenting the rationale for label differences if intentional.
Use cases
Use cases
When moving between settings, automations, dashboards, and integrations, users encounter different wording for similar actions. Standardizing terminology could:
Improve consistency across the interface
Reduce small usability friction
Make the UI feel more cohesive

This suggestion is based on general usability consistency principles (e.g., consistency and standards in UI design).
