I agree with this FR... ultimately we just need the ability to easily create our own AA dashboards (even if the dashboard is just an entity list) in HA's web UI and push to the phones so there is a single place to manage all phones. It should be under 'Dashboards' in the UI |

Describe the feature
Currently, when using Home Assistant with Android Auto, the icons displayed for favorite entities (in the Favorites dashboard) do not respect the custom icons set in Home Assistant. Instead, Android Auto shows default icons (e.g., generic light bulb, switch, or sensor icons), which reduces usability and visual consistency.

This request proposes to sync custom icons from Home Assistant to Android Auto, ensuring a seamless experience between the mobile app and the car interface.
Use cases
I’d use this daily to quickly identify devices while driving—like spotting my mdi:coffee machine to turn it on before I even get home, or avoiding confusion between my mdi:garage and mdi:front-door icons. Right now, all my lights look the same (💡), which forces me to read entity names, taking my eyes off the road. Custom icons would make Android Auto as intuitive as my Home Assistant dashboard.
