Instead of requiring a publicly-trusted CA certificate, I'd like to use a private CA certificate I control. However, I don't want any app other than Home Assistant to trust this certificate. Therefore, I would like to provide the certificate to Home Assistant directly.
Use cases
I would create a personal certification authority that I control and issue a certificate for the Home Assistant server. This would avoid needing to use the DuckDNS addon for dynamic DNS and Let’s Encrypt, which appears to be unreliable if Home Assistant isn’t accessible from the Internet.
