Describe the enhancement

I’m missing a sensor for the fume extractor that’s integrated in my induction hob. The Home Connect app supports the whole control of the fan, I’d be happy with just on/off sensor, that’s all I need.

Use cases

This would allow me to run boost on my ERV (Energy Recovery Ventilator) only when I use the fan. Currently it runs always when the hob is on and it’s often unnecessary, but it’s always necessary when the fume extractor runs, so it’d be a much more precise automation.

Anything else?

I have the Siemens iQ700 EX875LX67E induction hob, if that’s relevant.
