Expose system battery status on HP notebook

Use cases

I am running HA / HAOS on the old notebook (HP Envy 360) and would like to automate charging for keeping system stable, but the OS does not expose system battery status.

Current workarounds

None. It is always ON, and that is not good for battery, and also if charging stops I never know the battery is depleted and the system will shutdown soon.
