Notification if home assistant is offline

It would be great to receive a notification either through the app or by nabu casa if home assistant is offline for a specific time.

Use cases

If you rely on some stuff handled by home assistant, you should know if it is running or not.

I'm considering paying for Cloud. I just signed up for the free month trial, and am stunned that system-offline notifications are not already a fundamental part of the service. As a user about to deploy an installation in a local nonprofit facility, I and other caretakers need to know when site power and/or network are lost, so one of us can go onsite to check on animals. Could this be given consideration please? (Or, if it's already implemented, could someone please link to the documentation?)

Hi, if you are interested on a custom solution which is no cost (free SASS tiers) them PM on Community Forum. The solution uses pushing hearbeat data to tago.io with a tago.io custom analysis run every minute which then sends outage and recovery alerts to pushover. I can share my HA heartbeat automation and my tago.io analysis JS code.

Before OpsGenie was grandfathered by Atlassian I used that with a free tier and it was much simpler. Alas, they canned OpsGenie which was a brilliant tool.
