advanced switch option behind switch.

Describe your request

I have a working KNX - homeassistant system. Working with switching, sensors etc..

What problem does it solve?
as far as i know there is only a switch device option, only, als it doesn't have any advanced features "behind" the regular switch interface.
The problem that i have is that i have some devices that could use like a advanced switch UI where one can have options like "switch on for 1 hour" or "turn on until dawn".
These would be adhoc options, not regular switching stuff that one can program in automations..

What’s your proposed solution?
on the basic switch switch ui an option to open advanced switch options.

Why is it important to you?
e.g. being away from home i sometimes want to run a light or a hvac for a specific period..

Are there any alternatives or workarounds?
for recurring stuff the automations work fine but for adhoc stuff i haven't found a way. Unless i build a diffecent switch entity for every switch that MIGHT be in scope for a delayed OFF.

if i had the knowledge i would build it myself and be very proud of myself.

Maybe there a more advanced switching than only time related stuff or maybe not ;-)
