Difficulties while trying to install PyRAF using Anaconda: No module named 'stsci.tools.for2to3'

I am encountering difficulties while trying to install PyRAF using Anaconda. Upon executing the installation, I receive the following error message:

This is not a bug in PyRAF; therefore I moved it to the IRAF discussion forum.

The PyRAF you used (2.1.15) is outdated since 2021, and STScI dropped the support for it in stsci.tools. The current version of PyRAF is 2.2.2; you should install that one instead. See https://iraf-community.github.io/pyraf.html on how to install it directly.

From the log, I guess that you used geminiconda; however their web site suggests that they provide PyRAF version 2.2.1. So, I would strongly recommend to use the version they provide.
