Question about the keyword contentSchema.

Hello!
I am writing an implementation of JsonSchema. From the context of the description in the specification of the keyword contentSchema, it follows that the string value should be additionally validated according to this schema. But in the documentation, you just need to check the schema itself for validity. Do you need to check the value according to this schema?

The specification (2020-12) states that all of the content* keywords are annotative only. That is, a validator is not supposed to process these keywords.

The intent is such that the consuming application would then decode the content of the given instance according to contentEncoding and contentMediaType, then the decoded content should meet the requirements of the subschema in contentSchema. The implementation isn't supposed to perform these operations, though; it's the application's responsibility.

It sounds very simple, as if there is some undiscovered potential in this keyword. Apparently, there are some use cases planned by the authors of the specification that I couldn't think of. Nevertheless, thank you for your answer.
