New user having install problems

I have v1.2.43 installed using Caddy and PHP 8.3. It sort-of works. When I log in, it looks like this:

I followed From the archive - stable version instructions.

The only change I have made (because it looked like this) was to copy config.default.php to config.php. After restarting Caddy, there was no difference.

What do I need to change in order to get kanboard properly working? Or what debug info can I provide?
