Sequential run

Hello!

As a future option, I can suggest adding the ability to run multiple commands sequentially (or in parallel).
For example, I need to launch several programs or press a hotkey between programs, or maybe first launch a program, then open a link in the browser, and then ping it in the terminal. I could also consider running two programs at once (in parallel or with a pause).
Yes, I usually solve these types of problems with *.bat or *.ps1 scripts, but maybe someone else might need this too.

Hi there! Do you want to run a sequence of commands by activating a single item in the menu or would you rather want to have an option to keep the menu open after selecting an item? So that you can activate multiple items without having to re-open the menu?

I'm talking about the ability to launch multiple actions sequentially (or in parallel) with a single button, without opening a menu after selecting the first step.
For example, I open Excel, open a menu that enters the text "decimal day of the week" as a formula, and then I open another menu item that replaces the formula with a value.

This is one of the use cases I use, and it would be great to turn it into a single menu option.
Maybe someone else will find other uses for this.

Yeah, I see that this would be cool. Implementation-wise, it should be quite easy, but the difficulty will be the configuration UI. This would need a complete rethinking of how menu items are created...

If you want to, you can have a look at autohotkey. With this, you can quite easily write scripts which perform actions similar to Kando and then run those scripts from Kando! I think this is the most flexible solution for now.

From a UI perspective, I see it this way:
Just as we add a submenu, two buttons appear (one for configuring parallel runs and one for sequential runs). We also move them to their own configuration menu and fill them in:

1. For parallel runs, we move the necessary functions for parallel runs.
2. For sequential runs, we also fill the radial menu with functions, keeping in mind that they will be executed clockwise. All added functions can assign their own numbers for clockwise execution and will change as they are moved. After each item, you can add a delay after execution.

I've previously used PowerShell to emulate keys.

However, this suggestion is just an idea.
