How do i get started using kando on niri?

so i've been messing around for a bit yet i still cant figure out how to get kando to work properly for niri. My idea is to use kando to move focus between windows without having negative struts in my niri config. Ik kando can simulate hotkeys and commands so i thought it'd be fine but when i launched kando and pressed crtl+space nothing happened. I then made a menu to simulate my hotkey for moving focus right and that didn't work either, so i have no idea how to get this working on niri. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi there! Niri support is a bit limited, as some things are currently impossible to do on Niri. Have you checked the docs?

Also, #1040 could be related.

ah that's mb, idk how i missed that in the docs. I'll give that a read and see if it works. Tysm for the help mate!
