Format tool definitions in observations

OTEL defines the gen_ai.tool.definitions attribute for tool definitions. It would be nice if Langfuse pretty displayed that in a table or something when looking at an observation.

I'm not sure I can share a link since we are still self-hosting Langfuse but you can find the definition of gen_ai.tool.definitions here open-telemetry/semantic-conventions#2702 and it's set by .NET here.

Hi @verdie-g , thank you for the suggestion and especially mentioning the relevant Gen-AI conventions. We're working on UI improvements for tool calls in this quarter, making them more explicit. Will let you know when we have something to share here.
