The Status Quo is Broken. Current observability tools force a choice: expensive SaaS with aggressive pricing, or Open Source "monsters" that require a """PhD to maintain.""" Logtide is the middle ground. We are building a privacy-first platform for teams who want insights, not infrastructure overhead.
Our Pillars: Signals > Storage
1. "Boring" Tech (Zero-Ops)
We are stripping away complexity. Our goal is a "Single Container, Single Volume" architecture. By moving background tasks to Postgres and making Redis optional, we’re prioritizing the 90% of you who self-host and just want it to work.
2. Instant Detection (No Config)
Stop building alerts from scratch. Logtide ships with Opinionated Detection Packs for Startup Reliability (5xx), Auth Security, and DB Health. Install it, and it starts detecting immediately.
3. Native Privacy & Correlation
PII Masking: Scrub sensitive data (PII/GDPR) at ingestion before it hits the disk.
Trace-less Linking: If a request_id exists, it’s a clickable link. See the full timeline across services without proprietary agents.
4. Deterministic Intelligence
We are skipping the "AI for logs" hype. We prefer Rate-of-Change alerts and baseline detection reliable math that tells you when traffic is abnormal, without the black-box hallucinations.
