Hi everyone, I wanted to report a fraudulent website I encountered while searching for MarkText on Baidu.

The top search result directed me to this link: https://so.zuitie.cn/s/marktext-markdown-editor/.

After downloading and installing the file from that page, the application prompted me to pay for activation.

Since MarkText is completely free and open-source, I realized this is a fake, copycat site designed to trick users into paying money. Please avoid downloading from this link and stick to the official website or official GitHub repository.

I wanted to share this here to warn the community and keep everyone safe.
