Enable Index Search in the Mini-Dashboard

Hello Meilisearch team,

It would be highly beneficial to implement a search functionality for indexes within the mini-dashboard. This feature is particularly valuable when managing multiple indexes in a single Meilisearch instance. In scenarios where Distributed Meilisearch is not available, consolidating all indexes within one instance is common, and a dedicated index search feature would significantly improve usability and efficiency.

Something like a AutoComplete component to replace the existing Index Select component would be perfect!

Hi @garyhuangdev , thanks for your feedback! While the mini-dashboard is currently in reduced maintenance & support mode (see repo notes), we’re starting to work on a way of providing a better UI for our users.

Could you clarify what you mean by a "dedicated index search feature"? Are you looking for a way to search across multiple indexes with the same query (multi-search), or something else? Understanding the need better will help us consider improvements in the future.

Hi @macraig - thanks for your quick reply. By saying the index search feature, I mean on the mini-dashboard interface, can we have something like a auto-complete component when selecting index in mini-dashboard?
