Actually the project is shipping MongoDB 4.4.29 as a default but this doesn't mean that Microcks is only working with this version ;-) At the moment, we stick with this one as it is lightweight with very reasonable performance and allows to build upon a low common set of features - we don't necessarily want to introduce stickiness with brand new features of MongoDB that would lock us with recent changes. You can obviously bring your own MongoDB either with Helm Chart or Operator so that you run the version you want. That said, we heard of adopters in the community who are running Microcks with MongoDB 6 and more recent versions. We recently started an initiative to allow adopters to share their actual configuration here: https://github.com/microcks/community/blob/main/install/COMPATIBILITY-MATRIX.md We hope it will allow people to share more broadly and highlight what configuration they're using. |

Hi @bernhardschanderl, did you manage to get Microcks working with MongoDB 8 after all? Would appreciate hearing about your setup if you tried it! If you got it working, it would be really helpful if you could update the compatibility matrix doc that @lbroudoux mentioned. |

There is only MongoDB version 4.4.29 supported - when will this project be compatible with actual version 8?
