Examples from secondary artifact could not be imported #1645

Hello everyone, I would like to use the concept of 'Secondary Artifacts'. The primary artifact is a json file (OpenAPI specification) and the secondary artifact is an xml file (SOAP-UI). Example for primary artifact: Example for secondary artifact (minimal): No errors are logged during the import (not even with log level Debug). In principle, it seems that the secondary artifact is also being considered, as the dispatcher is being adjusted. However, the problem is that the examples are not being inserted: I am using Microcks version 1.12.0 (Build timestamp 2025-05-28T09:49:50Z). Does anyone have an idea? |

Hey @goll-michael Thanks for posting this with the reproducer. Actually, it looks like a case (OpenAPI as a primary, SoapUI as a secondary for a REST Service) that we never handled and that is buggy. I put some debug traces, and it appears that the problem is in the operation matching. The operation coming from OpenAPI is Anyway, would you mind opening a bug issue on https://github.com/microcks/microcks/issues? You can refer to this thread for context and reproducing material. Thanks a lot! |

The operation coming from OpenAPI is
GET /secondary/mediatypetextplain/example01and we try to match it with the resource path of your test request that is/secondary/mediatypetextplain/example01only... In that case of using it as a secondary artifact, we should probably look at some additional information as we did with Postman Collection.Anyway, would you mind opening a bug issue on https://github.com/m…
