I think it would be very usefyl if Musescore 4 had native support for a timecode text element.
Right now, there is a plugin (https://musescore.org/en/project/score-timecode) which can insert timecodes for you, but it doesn't have much customisability. Most desired adjustment has to be made after the text is in the score and therefore score-wide style changes are much more difficult/time-consuming. It also simply uses normal text and has no parameters, so once it is placed, it keeps its absolute value and will not adjust to changes. My last issue with it is that it defaults to 00:00, meaning that if you want to put a timestamp only in the middle of your score, you have to add an offset before placing in the timecode.
Now, this isn't to say the plug-in isn't good. I appreciate the work of the person who made it and it is a useful tool nonetheless - certainly better than manually writing them. However, it would be great if Musescore 4 could support them like any other text element, e.g. bar numbers so that you can set parameters such as frequency, style, precise position, format, offset and so on.
This would be really useful for scoring music for screen (which also begs the question whether Musescore 4 will get native video support and sync at some point).
