Problem

In the Transifex project for OpenCloud there are a couple of translators who have joined up for Swedish but there are no reviewers. There is also plenty of translated strings that are stuck without review.

Question / Discussion

• How is the process for assigning reviewers?
• Are there any requirements / qualifications?

At the moment we don't require reviews. Anything that's translated (even without review) gets synced into the product at the moment.

Thank you, I only took a quick glance but it seemed to me like there were no localized strings. I'll try doing some translation and see where that gets me.

Are you using the rolling release?

Patch releases of the stable version don't receive translation updates, only real bug fixes. End of November will be the next stable release, that will have the Swedish translations from beginning of this week. Any opencloud 2.0.x version has Swedish translations from March 2025.

I'm using the Docker image locked to current minor version (2.0). I haven't looked to closely but I guess I might be able to build and override translations if I need to get ahead on those?

Translations are bundled with the web ui and with some backend services. You'd basically need to build everything from source. Wouldn't recommend that honestly.
