Feature request: shorten track

It would be great to be able to shorten a recorded track when I forgot to stop recording after hiking and get into a car, for example.

Are there any good examples in other apps with an easy and convenient track editing?

Outdooractive can do it. Garmin Connect too (even if it's not that intuitive).

Yes! I've had to delete several tracks that would've been otherwise useful of I could crop them down to the actual important part (wanting the elevation/distance stats for just a section of a hike, or leaving the established trail and only wanting to keep that part, forgetting to turn off the tracking after getting to the car, etc)

Might also be nice to automatically split up tracks between hikes and car rides... Same issue, being able to shorten a recorded track (beginning, end, etc) would be great!
