I'm trying to build docker image using bootBuildImage task of SpringBoot gradle project.
It worked several months ago but today I got an error.

I tried to find a solution by googling but couldn't find any clue.
Anyone who has similar problem ?

Where I've seen this before is when you have an incorrectly specified builder image. Like if you try to use a buildpack as a builder. There is certain required metadata on a builder image, and this is saying that your image does not have that required metadata.

What version of Spring Boot are you using? What settings do you have in build.gradle with respect to image generation & Spring Boot Build tools?

I created a project using Spring Initializr as following.

And I didn't touch anything but just clicked demo > Tasks > build > bootBuildImage and I got the error.

Docker desktop 4.42.0 is installed in my computer.
And I could see it downloaded paketobuildpacks as following.

I tried everything I can but faild.

Check that you do not have containerd enabled in your Docker Desktop. That is problematic. If you have "use containerd" checked, uncheck it and restart your Docker.

Thanks a lot. The problem is gone after disabled "use containerd ..." option.
