Collaborated closely with Efe on Receiver<Monitor> integration tests for different script patterns and sender behaviors #1211 to add tests for the monitoring typestate.
During review, discovered a bug affecting detection of Payjoin proposals with non-SegWit inputs Detecting non-segwit proposal broadcast #1214
Advanced hiring efforts - brought a few candidates through the interview pipeline. Still evaluating their interest level and fit in the team.
Exploring treasury management options.
On the simulation front, implemented new strategies, including a batched unilateral spender model.
Paired with Nothingmuch on the transaction graph indexer.
Over the weekend, finalized the Electrum OHTTP proof-of-concept and preparing to open a client-side PR.
Drafted the initial plan for the March retreat

Spent most of the week reading and researching.
Co-authoring an overview document with Armin describing how sub-protocols compose and interact across the system.
Investigating how the directory can evolve into a trustful scaffolding layer -- no longer just essential infrastructure, but a coordination layer embedded within the protocol.

Reviewed Chavic’s recent work and began drafting deliverables for Btrust.
Continued progress on integration work, debating specifics around BIP21 formatting and semantics.
Preparing a broader receiver PR that demonstrates BIP21 usage in practice to clarify intent for reviewers.
Discussed feedback from Liana: their architecture targets a niche use case, making extension challenging.
Review feedback suggests minimizing database schema changes.
Fixed Nix flake builds after breakage from the latest NixOS update by removing an outdated hack. Nixos stable 25.11 #1210

Completed Dart bindings upgrade to use dart native assets. Collaborating with Bram to update UniFFI to 0.30 and enable Dart-native asset support.
Upgrading rust-payjoin to UniFFI 0.30 and ensuring full native asset compatibility.
Held a coordination call to unify the Payjoin Directory outlined concrete steps for consolidation.
Working on folding the OHTTP relay into the monorepo. PR is open remaining work involves Nix integration.
- Ben suggested adding Nix tests selectively to affected jobs.
Plan:
1. Ship OHTTP relay PR as the first milestone.
2. Remove Nginx dependency or fold it into top-level Nix config.
3. Begin implementing the unified Payjoin service that merges relay and directory functionality.
Will open a tracking issue for the unification effort -> Zealsham will contribute once it’s live.
