Portainer no longer starts

Hello,

I'm using Portainer on a RPi 4 running OpenMediaVault. After making some changes to stacks, it was malfunctioning and spitting out HTTP 500 errors in trying to manage containers further. I tried rebooting, but now Portainer does not start at all:

Did you recently update OpenMediaVault? Do you have docker plugin enabled in OMV?
There has been some changes around that in OMV

I did notice that OMV no longer has a one-click solution for installing and updating Portainer. I was able to migrate it over to the docker-compose plugin, and it was running just fine. I was also able to manage my stacks and add a new one just fine, but then it stopped working altogether with the last stack I added.

I had thought briefly of migrating all of my stacks to OMV, but its interface is just so clunky and unintuitive, so I'd really rather keep using Portainer (provided that I can fix/recover my instance).

I had the same issue; it has to do with the mount point you are asked to setup in the OMV UI for docker.
I uninstalled the docker-compose plugin, and everything was back to normal.

I've removed the OMV plugin, but in trying to use docker-compose from terminal instead, I'm still getting this error:
failed to register layer: symlink ../e9ac7f991bedb2866cc82aacf55fa37055134e4d385e8d3cab86ae0546424a2b/diff /srv/dev-disk-by-uuid-[...]/docker/overlay2/l/FP5PRKSPI75BTMGABQ6LRSEZLU: no such file or directory

Did you restart docker after uninstalling the plugin?

I did not at that point, but I was restarting the RPi when you sent this message. I'm happy to report that it's working now. Thank you for your help.
