Did you follow the windows device manager tips at the bottom of that menu? It shows you how to make Windows recognize the hub in update mode, since it won't see it by default. |

No it does not go away. Oh, I see what you're saying. I was not aware of

Also, you might have a USB cable that only does charging and can't
transfer data. So you could try a different USB cable.

Returning to pybricks after 10 months off. Pybricks recognizes the hub and says "a new pybricks firmware version is available for this hub." I follow the instructions and get the hub into pink-green-blue-off mode, hit install, and it says: "No compatible devices found."
I'm on a Lenovo IDEAPAD running Windows.
