Is there any plan for Qdrant-Lite for Edge devices

There are many use cases can be possible with on-device lite weight VectorDB
Other database like Milvus provides lighter version for edge or on-device enviornment:

Is there any plan for Qdrant-lite with limited features ?

Use-case: "On-device image search using Natural language"

As a POC want to develop it on RPI5 board:

• Images and description will be stored as pairs in Edge Vector DB.
• User query will be given in natural language or as a image, need to return relevant results to user

Reason for on-device:

• images can not be uploaded to cloud or any external server due to privacy
• Constraint environment with Limited RAM and Storage

for this use-case you can use any other embedded database. Qdrant Edge project is focused on efficient device-to-cloud synchronization, where the device acts as a sort of cache. We are not focused on device-only deployment type
