It's a valid concern. To answer your question directly: We do not have plans to donate RustFS to the CNCF at this time. Currently, our primary focus is on development velocity, stabilizing the core architecture, and delivering the best possible performance for our users. Joining a foundation like the CNCF is a significant milestone, but it also introduces a layer of governance and administrative overhead that we feel is premature for the project's current stage. We want to remain agile and fully focused on the code right now. We remain committed to keeping RustFS open and accessible. Thanks again for your support and for caring about the project's future! |
