Hello RUXAILAB Community, I’m Sparsh Karna, a B.Tech student in Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science). I’m excited to join this group and explore contributing to the "Enhancing Playwright Testing in RUXAILAB" project for GSOC 2024! I’ve worked with Python, JavaScript, React.js, and FastAPI on projects like AnalyzeX (semantic retrieval with Sentence Transformers) and LegalLookup (legal chatbot with BERT embeddings). I’ve also built UI systems and tested workflows, like in ChloroGuardian, which used TensorFlow and OpenCV. These experiences make me eager to dive into Playwright testing, optimize workflows, and improve accessibility—plus, I’m comfortable with Git and CI/CD setups. I’d love to contribute to a maintainable, well-documented testing framework for RUXAILAB. Any tips on getting started—like setting up the project or chatting with the mentor, Eric—would be awesome. I’m ready to jump in early and collaborate, so let me know how I can get involved! Excited to be here and contribute to this open-source effort! Cheers, |

Hello there My name is Ahmed Alghali, Computer Science Student at the University of Khartoum, Sudan, I have actively applied my skills in different Machine Learning Scenarios from model development to deployment, achieving a top 5 ranking on the Zindi platform(Machine Learning Competitions) in the Sudan region and placing within the top 1% of users. My classical machine learning background and mathematical foundations helped me win multiple honors and regional prizes within the computational field. I’m particularly fascinated by data analysis building metrics/monitoring data preprocessing model optimization. I have been exploring Comparative Analysis and Fine-Tuning of Sentiment Models for Improved System Integration (175h). and I find it to be a sweet middle ground between what I know and what I want to learn. What I’m Familiar with (what I want to hone) Could you advise on current issues or areas where assistance is needed? I am eager to contribute and would appreciate guidance. |

Hi there, I’m Arman, a fourth-year mathematics student at the University of British Columbia with a strong passion for software development and data science. Previously, I’ve interned at Amazon, where I developed a full-stack workflow for credit-card authentication, and I currently co-lead UBC Launch Pad’s software engineering design team, guiding a team of 14 through technical development and design. My experience spans FastAPI, React, Tailwind CSS, AWS, and infrastructure tools like GitHub Actions. In addition to my skills, I’ve contributed to open-source projects, including my work on Campus Nutrition—a non-profit initiative improving food services for UBC students, the UBC Computer Science Student Society (CSSS), and PrairieLearn—an online assessment platform used by my University for thousands of students. Additionally, I’ve built projects integrating GitHub APIs and setting up CI/CD actions, and am experienced in authentication workflows using Supabase. I would love to contribute to the project: Integration of GitHub Actions with Discord Role Management. I have prior experience working with the GitHub and Discord API through the development of UBC Launch Pads's onboarding flow, where users were automatically assigned proper roles and tags depending on the team that they joined. This proved to be a seamless transition for assigning members to proper channels on Discord, as well as creating an automatic invite system to join our GitHub organization. I am eager to learn more and to create a positive contribution towards this project! Best regards, |

Hi @BasmaElhoseny01 , @Santosh69 My name is Navya Jain, and I am an aspiring GSoC '26 contributor. I am very interested in working on the "Intent and Semantic Analysis of Transcriptions and User Answers" project. I have a strong background in Python and Machine Learning, specifically working with NLP and text analysis. I was particularly drawn to this project because moving beyond simple sentiment polarity to extract actionable UX intent is an exciting challenge. I am currently exploring a few approaches for this, such as using a technology, e.g., BERTopic for semantic extraction or transformer-based models for intent detection, keeping in mind the need for explainable AI so researchers can trace insights back to the source text. In the meantime, I would love to know:

Hello Sir, @marc! I am Saumya, a 2nd-year CSE student, currently in my 4th sem, and I am highly interested in working on the Unified Logging and Traceability System project for GSoC 2026. I have a strong background in Python and backend development. Recently, I worked on developing an AI-driven trust and safety system and few hackathon projects. This gave me hands-on experience managing complex data workflows and anonymizing sensitive information, which aligns perfectly with the Ethics & Anonymization requirements of this logging project. I am currently putting together my proposal and drafting the architecture. Do you have a preferred database format (like JSON or relational DB) for the initial prototype, or should I propose what I think works best? Looking forward to your guidance! |

Hi everyone! My name is Goldy Pahal — I'm a second-year B.Tech student specializing in AI & ML at Chandigarh University, India. I came across RUXAILAB through the GSoC 2026 organizations list and I'm really excited about the work you're doing around AI-powered usability testing. I'm interested in the Eye-Tracking Data Quality Monitoring and Real-Time Feedback System project. The reason this project stood out to me is that I recently built SHIELD — a real-time 3-layer signal monitoring pipeline (audio + motion) for a women's safety system at a hackathon. It has a threat scoring engine, real-time alerts via Twilio, and Firebase-backed logging. When I read the project description, I realized the architecture is almost identical — just applied to gaze data quality instead of safety signals. That background gives me a strong starting point. My stack includes Python, NumPy, Firebase, LangChain, TFLite, and React Native. I'm currently studying scipy.signal and WebGazer.js to get up to speed on the signal processing and eye-tracking side before submitting my proposal. I'd love to connect with mentor Marc and any community members who can point me toward good first issues or share any context about the existing codebase. I've already started exploring the ruxailab/web-eye-tracker-front repo. Thanks for building such a cool open-source project — looking forward to contributing! Goldy Pahal |

Hi, I’ve been exploring the A/B testing functionality and I had an idea for a potential contribution. I was thinking about improving the interface for A/B testing by adding a clear dashboard where users can compare variations visually (for example using charts, percentages, or side-by-side comparisons). This could make it easier for users to understand results and make decisions. I would love to work on something like this. Please let me know if this would be useful or if there’s a better place to start. Thank you! |

Hi @marcgc21, I'm Pranjal - I've been digging into the
I'm targeting the AI Tool for Heuristic Evaluation project for GSoC 2026. The architecture is solid - the OmniParser + LLM pipeline for H1–H3 works well, and I'd like to help complete H4–H10 with proper rule-based checks alongside LLM evaluation, build out the report generation layer, and wire everything into RUXAILAB's frontend. Heading to Discord to discuss the Phase 2–4 architecture with you! |
