Bugfixes

• Fixed a bug on macOS where using the system's native font selection dialog did not apply the selected font, since Qt's native panel does not confirm the choice with an OK button. By @kkostov. PR Fix native font picker on macOS does not change the selected font #2970.
• Fixed a bug from the Beta 1 release where tab widgets could show a border despite having flat tabs enabled. By @vkbo. PR Fix tab widget border #2971.
• Fixed a bug from the Beta 1 release where pasting rich text could repeat formatting unnecessarily when the source contained overlapping hidden formats. Restored the ability to paste as plain text, now bound to Ctrl+Shift+V, which was lost when rich text paste was introduced. By @vkbo. Issues Copying formatted text from editor to viewer #2978 and Restore paste as plain text via alternative shortcut #2979. PR Fix repeated shortcodes in pasted rich text #2980.
• Fixed missing theme colours in the Dark Arts and Ruby Night themes added in the Beta 2 release. By @HeyMyian. PR Fix theme colors #3003.

User Interface

• Changed the default line height from 1.0 to 1.15, the default font on Windows to Segoe UI, and reduced the default application font size from 10pt to 9pt. By @HeyMyian. Discussed in Default config values #2955. PR Change default font #2998.

Other Changes

• Bumped the project file format version to 1.6 to block the project from being opened by older versions of novelWriter that cannot read it correctly anyway. By @vkbo. PR Bump project version #2984.

Packaging

• Rewrote the Debian package build to publish through a package registry, with build versions now selectable and Linux Mint added as a supported target. By @vkbo. PRs Update Debian packaging #2986 and Refactor debian build #2990.

Internationalisation

• The Norwegian, US English, German, Italian, Japanese, Polish and Portuguese translations are now complete, and the Catalan translation has been updated. Translations are contributed via Crowdin. PR Update i18n #2968.

By the way, I read some of the other threads briefly and just wanted to ask: will there really be an android version??

I'm not really a technical user, just love the app and found the proposal quite interesting. I have a friend I've been trying to convince into novelwriter and his whole reason for refusing is the inability to edit on mobile lol. So I think this might bring many new users to the app, if it happens.

Still empty, but @kkostov will manage that project (I don't do mobile). I assume it will take a while before something is ready though.
