Thanks for a good walkthrough. I couldn't get some features to work on previous tutorials, but here I got it all and got the change to test the things that were skipped earlier. |

Great course, would love a more in depth explanation between the difference of releases and pull requests, how to use them together. One thing was for me it just wasn't clicking if the published releases were merging changes into the main branch like PRs but i think i finally got it, that releases are optional changes and user can click and add the changes if they want? |

I took the course on releases out of curiosity. Found it by chance in a random IT chat. the course seemed very convenient to me. For sure I'll get back in my free time to update my knowledge. Thank you for such a great opportunity! |

I was familiar with git flow and github flow going into this, so this was interesting to see an alternate workflow. Coming from using gitlab, I felt this also served as a good tutorial for PRs and releases in github. One issue I ran into though: On step 2 the readme says it has branch protection set up already:
My fork did not have any rulesets or classic branch protection rules, and does not prevent me from pushing directly to the main branch. It's not clear if this branch protection mentioned is referring to rulesets or maybe the "interaction limits" under moderation options. |
